Warranty Information

Thank you for your interest in the products and services of Sit Healthier.

Standard Warranty applies to physical goods, and only for physical goods, purchased from Sit Healthier.​​

 

STANDARD ONE YEAR MANUFACTURER WARRANTY:

This warranty covers manufacturing defects associated with your new product. Sit Healthier warrants its products to be free from defects in workmanship and materials, under normal residential use and conditions, for a period of one (1) year from the original invoice date. The manufacturer agrees, at its option during the warranty period, to repair any defect in material or workmanship or to furnish a repaired or refurbished product of equal value in exchange without charge (except for a fee for shipping, handling, packing, return postage, and insurance which will be incurred by the customer). Such repair or replacement is subject to verification of the defect or malfunction and proof of purchase as confirmed by providing the order number and pictures of the said defect on the item.

Note:

  • This warranty will not cover: (1) labor, freight, or damage from misuse, abuse, negligence, alteration, assembly, installation, attachments, accident, vandalism, acts of nature or any other event beyond the control of Sit Healthier; (2) tearing, scratching, scuffing, or blemishing of leather or fabric; (3) cosmetic damage that may result from normal usage; (4) damage attributable to use by persons exceeding specified weight limits or commercial use exceeding forty hours per week; or (5) rust or other damage caused by exposure to moisture. The user assumes all risk of injury resulting from the use of this product. Liability for incidental or consequential damage is excluded. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.
  • Any item returned must be packaged securely. We are not responsible for any items sent that are either lost or damaged in transit.

 

This warranty only applies to Sit Healthier, ErgoStools and Kanewell products. Other Brands found in the Sit Healthier Website have different warranty terms and conditions provided by the manufacturer. Some of these products include: Salli, Bambach, Jobri, ErgoStools, Soma, ErgoAngle, Dream in Reality and Scandex.

UPHOLSTERY PRODUCT WARRANTIES:

  • Sit Healthier warrants the reclining mechanism, wooden frame parts and spring systems against manufacturing and material defects for one year from the date of purchase.
  • Cushioning/Filling Material – The manufacturer warrants against defective parts on seat cushion foams and filling materials for one year from the date of purchase.
  • All foam and filling composites naturally soften with use. This softening does not constitute a defect under the warranty.

FABRIC AND LEATHER

Fabric – The manufacturer warrants the upholstery fabric used on your furniture against; seam failure, fabric separation and nap loss for one year from the date of purchase. The manufacturer cannot cover pilling, which is a result of normal wear, nor fading, which can be caused by overexposure to sunlight.

Leather – The manufacturer warrants leather upholstery against seam failure and material defects for one year from the date of purchase.

  • The natural beauty of leather means that no two pieces of leather are exactly alike. As such, natural markings and grain variations are not considered defects.

 

WARRANTY LIMITATIONS

This warranty does not include:

  • Any condition resulting from other than ordinary residential wear or any use for which the product was not intended, such as use in rental or contract trade or commercial use
  • Any condition resulting from incorrect or inadequate maintenance or care
  • Damage resulting from misuse, abuse, negligence, accidents or shipping damage 
  • Dissatisfaction due to buyer’s remorse
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Damages incurred during transportation
  • Damages incurred during assembly or maintenance
  • Any used, previously displayed items.

 

Sit Healthier makes no express warranty or condition whether written or oral and the company expressly disclaims all warranties and conditions not stated in this limited warranty. To the extent allowed by the local law of jurisdictions outside the United States, the Company disclaims all implied warranties or conditions, including any implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. For all transactions occurring in the United States, any implied warranty of condition of merchantability, satisfactory quality, or fitness for a particular purpose is limited to the duration of the express warranty set forth above. Some states or countries do not allow a limitation on how long an implied warranty lasts or the exclusion of limitation of incidental or consequential damages for consumer products. In such states or countries, some exclusions or limitations of this limited warranty may not apply to the Purchaser. For consumer transactions, the limited warranty terms contained in this statement, except to the extent lawfully permitted, do not exclude, restrict, or modify but are in addition to the mandatory statutory rights applicable to the sale of this product to the Purchaser.

All warranty claims must be filed by the consumer to Sit Healthier, who in turn is to contact the manufacturer regarding any warranty return or replacement. Please avoid contacting manufacturers about your concern. Please retain electronic invoices (sent via email) for a minimum of one year for warranty purposes.

CLAIM PROCEDURES:

  • Claims for defective merchandise must be made within one year from the invoice date. Claims for missing parts must be made within 14 calendar days after the merchandise is received.
  • Due to the custom nature of the items we sell, most items on our site are non-returnable. Many items may be returned within 14 days of the delivery date. Most of our products are subject to restocking fees between 5% and 35% or other restrictions. Some products may not be returnable. Please see the product description for specifics. Please contact us before purchasing to find out if the item you're interested in purchasing can be returned.
  • Any claim for defective merchandise returns must be packed in the original packaging (please find our full return policy here).
  • We reserve the right to specify that items be returned to the original warehouse for inspection or be inspected by our representative in the field.
  • Pictures are required to claim defective merchandise, along with a copy of the original invoice. If the claim is justified, the item(s) or part(s) will either be repaired, replaced or a credit will be issued. It is our policy to replace parts whenever possible. 

This warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may have other rights, which vary from state to state.
